Raised on an island off Australia’s east coast, she was drawn to spending as much time as possible outdoors, happiest on the river and in the sun. That love of natural light is at the heart of her photography and Alex’s photos use natural light as a callback to a childhood spent in nature.

With a visual clarity sharpened by many years spent living abroad, she brings that same sense of noticing to family portraits, travel stories, and the small businesses she works with.

For sure! I shoot in Newcastle, Maitland, Port Stephens and Lower Hunter. I’m often shooting in Hong Kong once or twice a year. Get in touch if you fall outside of those areas - I’d love to make it work!

For family shoots this will also include outfit and location guidance and a questionaire to help guide the session
Your gallery is usually delivered within 2-3 weeks. Prior to that, you will receive sneak peeks within 2-3 days.
Once your gallery is delivered, you will have access through your private online gallery to one of the best print labs in Australia. You can order directly from your gallery and have everything delivered to your door. No awkward studio upsells, just the freedom to create in your own time.
